Amortization for car loans

Categories: Financial Information | April 16th, 2011 | by Admin | no comments

Amortization for car loans
There are a few basic facts that you should know about car loans before going for one. Most people opting for car loans would know the interest rate associated and the monthly installments that they have to pay. But most of them would be unaware of the fact that car loans are paid back through an amortization schedule. Awareness about amortization for car loans is very low among borrowers. Amortization for car loans includes the monthly payments that you would make to pay back the loan amount. The monthly payments that you make consist of two components – principal and the interest. The principal component goes towards repayment of the principal amount that you owe to the lender while the interest component pays for the interest of the amount of loan outstanding. Thus, amortization for car loans is nothing but spreading out the lump sum cost of loan over the entire tenure of the loan. The amortization for car loans is dependent on the tenure of the loan. Since the amortization takes place over the entire period of the loan, the longer the tenure of the loan, the slower will be the amortization for car loans. This also means that the monthly payments are going to be lower but the interest accrued on the loan will be higher because you are keeping the loan amount for longer periods of time. Amortization for car loans takes place a little different in interest only payment loans or minimum payment loans. In these type of loans, you basically just pay for the interest component of monthly payments which is the minimum payment needed to sustain the loan. What happens is that since you are not paying the principal component of your monthly payments, the loan amount outstanding is not reducing and thus you are not actually paying off the loan, you are just paying the interest to keep it afloat. This makes the borrower pay a lot more in interests but also gives the borrower to pay lesser monthly payments which may suit his/her needs at that time. Amortization for car loans can be understood better by using amortization schedules. This helps you break down the costs associated with the loan so that you can understand them better. Initially, your interest component will be larger and the principal component will be smaller. However, as the loan progresses, the interest component becomes smaller and smaller and your principal component increases. This happens because as the principal gets repaid, the interest on the amount outstanding also decreases. Amortization for car loans can be best understood by using the amortization schedule calculator.

Second mortgage low credit score

Categories: Financial Information | April 15th, 2011 | by Admin | no comments

Second mortgage low credit score
There are times when it is hard for you to apply for a second mortgage. Low credit score is usually the reason why some individuals can not get a loan despite the great urgency of cash. Applying for a mortgage or loan means that the record of your credit history will be checked by lending firms. Through this, they will be able to determine whether you are prompt with payments or not. With one look at your credit score, their decision is set. When they see that your credit rating is low, your privilege to get better terms will fade. On the other hand, you will have narrow chances of being approved with your request for a credit. If ever you are given an approval, the interest rates that you will be settling along with your monthly payments are high. When all of the money that you have paid for the interests are put together as one whole amount, it is greater than the loan that you have acquired. Your credit score is used to assess the pattern of your loan payments. With the use of rating standards and credit statements, your account will be added up or subtracted with points. There are a lot of factors which may influence the deduction of points. These might be the following: * you are constantly late with your monthly payments * you have recently gone through bankruptcy * you have exceeded the limit of your credit card If you want to avail of a second mortgage, low credit score is not of much help. Nor will this provide you with affordable interest rates. Even though, you should not think that your application will not be approved. You can still get a loan or a mortgage, although with lesser terms than those which are provided for individuals with high credit scores. The best thing that you can do, before you file for a mortgage application, is to enhance your credit rating. This is possible when you start paying your recent loan balances on time. It is also advisable that you settle it earlier, in order to increase the points that you will be earning. You will know more about your credit score when you obtain a credit report from bureaus that look into your record. Who knows, while you are settling your current payments, you have been able to add in some points. But if you have not been able to increase your score, you should not worry too much. When you want to obtain a second mortgage, low credit score is not the only factor which lenders look into.

Investing money advice
A lot of people who find themselves with money to spare often tend to think about ways to increase this amount and getting advice as to investing possibilities is one thing that a lot of them need. Not everyone who comes into a bit of money often know how to invest it properly and not all investments that they do enter into will give them the kind of revenue or profit they want or wish for. Finding worthwhile advice pertaining to such investment possibilities is one thing that these wannabe investors seek and knowing who to approach and what to find out can be just as daunting or hard as finding the right kind of investment to pour their money into. One of the easiest and simplest ways for people to invest their money is through a Money Market investment. An MMA or Money Market Account is similar to a savings account yet gives a person twice the interest earnings that they might get from a savings account. Of course, if one invests in an MMA, there are restrictions to certain actions that one can do with an MMA that is supposed to be allowable with a savings account. Another money making investment you can also try is the tax lien certificate investments. While these may not be as numerous as the MMAs or as favorable in some areas, there are some places that do offer people extremely favorable results with this kind of an investment. People who are contemplating investing their money in something that can double or triple it in a certain span of time will definitely find it hard to choose which investment is worth their hard earned money and to find out which kind of an investment is suited for them, the amount of money they have and the kind of results they may want to see. This kind of an indecision can be remedied with a trip to an investment adviser. There are companies who specialize in creating portfolio samples for clients who want to start investing what they have saved up and these portfolio samples often show what the client can expect from such an investment as well as the other possibilities they can opt for. Aside from paying an investment adviser for what kind of an investment you can get your money into, you can check online for advice from investment websites about what might be good for the coming years or which stocks are being viewed as the next big thing. Investing money advice can be had a number of ways and these ways can either be pretty accurate or off the mark. You will just need to practice a bit of caution and follow your instincts when it comes to certain investments you make.

Credit card wage garnishment

Categories: Financial Information | December 19th, 2010 | by Admin | no comments

Credit card wage garnishment
Wage garnishment is done by the debt collectors and even by credit car companies. They try all their methods to collect their dues from the debtors. When nothing materializes, they take the assistance of the court and go ahead with the wage garnishment process where the court issues a writ order to the employer of the debtor to withhold a part of the debtor’s income and to direct it to the creditor. This part of the debtor’s income is the wage garnishment that is enforced through the court which cannot be denied by the employer. Credit car companies literally threaten you by bringing the process of wage garnishment for any non payment. They garnish the wages directly from your earnings. They threaten you, but not directly. They sue you and a judge arrives at a decision regarding garnishing your wages for repayment. Once served with legal documents, in your best interests you can contact an attorney. Ignoring the lawsuit will be of no immense help. If you resist showing up at the court, you prove that you are a defaulter and the judgment ends in the opponents favor. You can avoid these lawsuits by settling your debts before they become serious. The creditor who sues and once the judgment is recorded it stays from the filing date for 7 years. The suitable defense to any credit card company that presents a lawsuit is by declaring a Statute of Limitations. The Statute of Limitations refers to the time limit that a distressed party files as a lawsuit. This statute will help you and the court will assess the status and dismiss the suit if he finds your financial status beyond control. The thought that only non-payment of taxes can get transformed as a wage garnishment is not true. Any holder, who has sued you for some reason, has all the right to garnish your wages, if they prefer to do so. Wage garnishment deals with any credit card debt, any old unpaid landlord, tax debt, and many more to whom you owe money on some grounds. People are shocked to realize that a credit card debt can come in the form of wage garnishment. But, this is the fact. The credit card company decides to sue you as they do not receive any payment or commitment from your end and they approach the law. They win the law easily and take the judgment to the sheriff and demand the money to be taken from your paycheck. However, the wage garnishment takes 25% of their earnings as the amount you owe to the credit card debt.
